Rethinking Broken is a way to look at the biological impacts of traumatic experiences and the conditioning those experiences imprint on a survivor. It will teach practitioners to:
- Understand trauma as a form of chronic stress adaptation, through identifying which neurological systems are most compromised due to chronic stress during development.
- Identify and suggest personalized, constitution based, trauma informed, lifestyle practices that foster resilience and reconditioning of systems affected by chronic stress during development.
- Be able to create and provide alternative compassionate narratives for clients living with chronic stress adaptation.
